TOUNG, Chi-Yun, age 75, of Oradell, passed away Monday, February 11, 2008 at the Hackensack University Medical Center Hospice. Born in Shanghai, China, she moved from Taiwan to New York City in 1964. She lived in River Edge for seven years before moving to Oradell where she lived for the past 33 years. Chi-Yun is survived by her husband of 54 years, Heng-Chen; son Harry and his wife Dore of New York City; son David and his wife Jama of New York City; and daughter Susan and her husband Martin of Salt Lake City, Utah. She was a gentle and loving grandmother of Mei-Ling, Noah, Linnea, Katie, and Sophia. Her children found inspiration and great support from her as they pursued college, advanced degrees, and their careers. When her grandchildren arrived, she knitted sweaters and hats for each of them. A viewing and memorial will be held on Sunday, February 17, 2008 from 2-4pm at Volk Leber Funeral Home, 268 Kinderkamack Road, Oradell.
