Obituary

Francis P. Farley, of Winchester, passed away at Lahey Clinic in Burlington on Feb. 11. A lifelong resident of Winchester, he was a graduate of Winchester High School with the class of 1941. After graduation, he enlisted in the U.S. Army and served during WWII. Upon his return to Winchester, Mr. Farley was employed as a safety engineer with the U.S. Government in Civil Service. A member of the Knights of Columbus, where he was a past Grand Knight, Francis enjoyed spending time with his family in Dennisport. Mr. Farley was the beloved husband of the late Elizabeth V. (Maher), and the devoted father of John P. of Burke, VA, James P. of Chelmsford, Frances P. Faulcon of Trinity, FL, Robert T. of Woburn and Richard A. of Burlington. He was the brother of Margaret Keefe of Medford, Anne Lopez of Winchester and the late James, John and Thomas Farley. 8 grandchildren and 1 great-granddaughter further survive him. His Funeral will be held from the Costello Funeral Home, 177 Washington St., Winchester on Friday, Feb, 15 @ 9AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Eulalia’s Church, 50 Ridge St. Winchester at 10:00 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. Burial will follow in Wildwood Cemetery, Winchester. Visiting Hours are Thursday from 4-8PM.
