TEWKSBURY - Patricia A. Itrato, age 67, a former resident of Belmont, died Tuesday, February 12, at her Tewksbury home, surrounded by her family, after a lengthy and courageous battle with cancer. She was the wife of Peter P. Itrato, with whom she had celebrated a 21st wedding anniversary on November 22.
She was born in Boston, on November 22, 1940, a daughter of the late Mario E. and Madelyn D. (Adams) Caroselli. She was raised in Belmont, and graduated from Belmont High School with the Class of 1958. She had lived in Belmont her entire life, but retired to Tewksbury in May, 2006.
Prior to retirement, she worked as an administrative assistant in the research department of Pioneer Investments at 60 State Street in Boston.
She was known for her love of cooking, her sewing skills, and her lifelong passion for fine arts painting in various media.
Besides her husband, she is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Sandra and John O'Grady of Billerica; a son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth and Jill (Fontenarosa) Sacca of Dublin, GA; three beloved grandchildren, Michael Joseph O'Grady, Daniella Sacca and Nicholas Sacca; her sisters, Marcia Lipoma of Watertown, Barbara McDevitt of Watertown, Judi Keating of Venice, FL, and Carol Rausch of Swansea; and many nieces and nephews.
She was also sister of the late Mario E. Caroselli Jr., and Henry E. Mee.
Her Funeral Mass was held Friday, Feb. 15, in St. William's Church, Tewksbury. Burial was in Tewksbury Cemetery. Memorials to the Middlesex East VNA Hospice, 607 North Ave., Suite 17, Wakefield, MA 01880, are appreciated.
