Obituary

Tucker, Frank M. Tucker 86, of Dover died on Saturday February 9, 2008 at the Geriatric Authority of Milford. Born and raised in Needham Frank graduated from Needham High School in 1939. He went on to graduate from Bryant and Stratton College in Boston. A veteran of WWII Frank served with the U.S. Navy as a Yeoman 2nd class from 1942 until 1946. An Engineering Administrator Frank was with many companies including General Motors and later retired from Stone and Webster after 15 years of service. Very active in the Masonry, and the Dover Lodge Frank served as master of the Dover Lodge now Lafayette Dover Lodge in Norwood from 1955-56 and 1977-78. Frank was a resident of Dover since 1946 and was well known in Upton Maine where he resided during the summer and vacationed there for over 70 years. He was the beloved husband of the late Phyllis (Barber). Loving father of Robert K. Tucker and his wife Carla of Medway and David S. Tucker of Dover. Grandfather of Kenneth D., Jennifer A., Joshua K., Justin D., and Jordan P Tucker. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. A memorials service will be held at the United Church of Christ in Medfield, 496 Main St. on Saturday Feb. 16, 2008 at 11:00 AM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Geriatric Authority of Milford Building Fund, 1 Countryside Drive Milford, MA 01757 and to United Church of Christ in Medfield Parish Mutual Aid Fund, 496 Main St. Medfield MA 02052.
