TYNGSBORO - Kirkland J. Brown, 51, a resident of Tyngsboro, died Saturday, February 9th, 2008 in Tyngsboro. He was the loving and devoted husband of Becky (Koumoutseas) Brown with whom he was married for 23 years.
He was born in Lowell, MA, on February 22, 1956, the son of Dorothy J. Brown of Dracut and the late Harry R. Brown. Kirk graduated from Dracut High School in the class on 1974.
He was the owner and operator of the Brown's Home Improvement Company for 25 years.
Kirk enjoyed spending time with his family and he loved his children more than life. He was a devoted son and loving brother.
In his free time he enjoyed watching sports, especially Nascar Racing and riding his Harley Davidson Motorcycle.
In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by his three daughters, Katelyn Brown, Kimberly Brown, and Kourtney Brown all of Tyngsboro; his brother-in-law, Dr. Christos Koumoutseas of Lowell; and a close family friend, who was like a son, Miles Nussdorf of Tyngsboro.
Also, his three sisters, Kathleen Gomes Cormier and her husband William of Manchester, NH, Susan Wallace and her husband Donald of Dracut, and Mary Ellen Haigh and her husband Robert of Chelmsford; nine nephews and nieces, Trysha Vecchione of Goffstown, NH, Amanda Gomes of Littleton, Jay Gomes and Brian Gomes both of Manchester, NH, Katie Cormier of Manchester, NH, Richard Cormier and Christopher Cormier of Florida, Lee Ann Day of Manchester, NH and Michael Pimentel of Wakefield.
Friends may call at the DRACUT FUNERAL HOME, 2159 Lakeview Avenue, DRACUT on Tuesday from 4:00 until 8:00 PM. His funeral will be held from the funeral home on Wednesday at 10:00 AM followed by his Funeral Service at 11:00 AM in the Hellenic Church of the Holy Trinity in Lowell. Interment in Westlawn Cemetery in Lowell. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hellenic Church of the Holy Trinity, 41 Broadway Street, Lowell, MA 01854 or to the Christ Church United of Dracut, 10 Arlington Street, Dracut, MA 01826.
