Florence M. Fontes (Alves), of Plymouth, at the age of 83, on February 6th at the Radius Healthcare Center. Beloved wife of the late Manuel A. Fontes, she is survived by her loving son Thaddeus and his wife Marjorie of Plymouth. She also leaves her cherished grandchildren Thaddeus Jr. and Marissa M Beaulieu both of Plymouth. Mrs. Fontes graduated from Plymouth High School and she and her late husband Manuel owned and operated Holmes Grocery. A funeral mass will be held on Monday February 11th at St. Mary’s Church in Plymouth at 10AM followed by burial at St. Joseph’s Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held at the Richard Davis Funeral Home, 373 Court St, (Rt 3A), N. Plymouth on Sunday February 10th from 4 to 7 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to St. Mary’s Church, 313 Court St, Plymouth, MA 02360.
