Obituary

New Bedford – Ronald E. Jason, 65, of E. Freetown died after a long illness on February 4, 2008 at St. Luke’s Hospital. He was the husband of Elaine (Camire) Jason and loving companion of Nancy Boehler.

Mr. Jason was born in New Bedford, son of the late Carroll H. and Viola M. (Smith) Jason, and resided in E. Freetown for the past 24 years. He was a U.S. Army veteran. He worked as a self-employed computer salesman and consultant. He was a member of Disabled American Veterans # 57, Taunton. He loved to cook and use his computer.

In addition to his wife and companion, he is survived by his children: Lisa Tenczar of Lowell and Scott Jason of Harwich; a sister: Barbara Lepore of Dartmouth; 4 grandchildren; and several nieces & nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend:

Visiting hours on Thursday, February 7, 2008, 2-4 & 7-9 P.M.

Funeral service at 12 noon Friday, February 8, 2008 at the Kirby Funeral Home, 61 Tarkiln Hill Road, New Bedford.

Interment in Chace Cemetery, E. Freetown.
