LOWELL—Nora T. (Soroghan) Molloy, 94 years old, died Friday January 31st, at the Northwood Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, in Lowell. She was the wife of the late John J. Molloy, who died in July of 1990.
She was born in Lowell, on September 8, 1908, a daughter of the late Patrick and Mary (McNamara) Soroghan, and was a graduate of the Immaculate Conception Grammar School and the Immaculate Conception High School.
Mrs. Molloy was a former member of the Immaculate Conception PTO, and held membership in the Greater Lowell Senior Citizens.
Surviving her are a son and daughter-in-law: Richard and Ann Molloy, of Westford; two daughters and one son-in-law: Janice Molloy Farrell, of Salisbury; and Sheila and Joe Batal, of Methuen; four grandchildren and their spouses: John and Jeri-an Batal, Shannon and Shaun McCabe; Kara and Michael Haas; and Richard and Elise Molloy; three great-grandchildren: Zachary John Batal; Alexis Nora Batal and Morgan Elizabeth McCabe; also several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call on Sunday, February 2nd, from 3 until 7 PM at the MAHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 187 Nesmith Street, (Rte. 38). Her Funeral Mass to be offered Monday, February 3rd, at 9 AM at the IMMACULATE CONCEPTION CHURCH, Lowell. Burial in St. Patrick Cemetery, Lowell.
