Obituary

Dolores M. (Travers) Charlebois, 77 years, of W. Bridgewater, died February 3, 2008 at Sachem Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Center after a lengthy illness. She was the wife of the late Edward A. Charlebois, Sr. Born in Brockton, daughter of the late Manuel C. and Sophie (Silva) Travers, she was raised in W. Bridgewater and was a 1947 graduate of Howard High School. For over 20 years she had been employed at the BPM/Shaws Supermarket in Brockton. In 1982 she moved to Florida and had been a resident of Dunedin, FL for 25 years before moving back to W. Bridgewater. While a resident of Florida, she was employed by Hallmark Cards for 15 years. Dolores enjoyed crossword puzzles, cards, time with family and friends and volunteering at the Pinellas County Senior Center in Florida.

She is survived by a daughter Patricia Hobbs and her husband David, Sr. of Kingston, a son Edward Charlebois, Jr. and his wife Kathleen of W. Bridgewater, four grandchildren Keri Sibley and her husband Steven of Norfolk, David Hobbs, Jr. and his wife Erin of Portsmouth, NH, Ed Charlebois, III and Myles Charlebois both of W. Bridgewater and one great granddaughter Taylor Sibley of Norfolk. She was the twin sister of the late David Travers.

Funeral from the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton, Thursday at 9am. Funeral Mass in St. Ann’s Church, W. Bridgewater at 10am. Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery.
