Michael S. Torelli, Sr., 77, of Greenville Avenue, died Sunday, February 3, 2008, at Fatima Hospital. He was the husband of the late Elizabeth V. (Eudicone) Torelli. Mr. Torelli had retired in 1992 from the maintanence department of Brown University. He had previously worked at St. Joseph Hospital.
Born in Johnston, a son of the late Alexander and Philomena (Iannotti) Torelli. He had been a lifelong resident of Johnston. He was a 4th Degree Knight of Columbus, a member of the Holy Name Society, Our Lady of Grace Church, and Johnston Fire Company, Hose #3.
He is survived by two sons Michael S. Torelli, Jr. of Johnston, Richard J. Torelli of Pawtucket, five grandchildren and three sisters Claire Cipriano and Celia Troia both of Johnston, and Florence F. Stern, of Acton, MA. He was the brother of the late Joseph and Alexander Torelli.
His funeral will be held Thursday at 9am from the ANDERSON-WINFIELD Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in Our Lady of Grace Church, George Waterman Road, Johnston. Visitation Wednesday 4-7pm.
