Monahan and her husband Brian of Raleigh, NC and Joan F. Quealy and her husband Vincent of Northboro. Grandmother of Brian Monahan Jr. and his wife Kimberley, Michael, Andrew and Sarah Monahan, Timothy, Kerry and Michael Quealy. Sister of Elizabeth Hughes and her husband Joseph of West Hartford, CT. Also survived by 9 nieces and nephews.

Long time member and past president of the Ace of Clubs. Graduate of Trinity College, Washington D.C., 1940. Co founder and active participant of the Boston College Alumni Association Institute for Life Long Learning. In 1952 Polly was instrumental in organizing and implementing the renowned Kennedy Teas. Throughout her life Polly enjoyed her special relationship with the Kennedy family and their many political endeavors.
