Teresa (Correa) Nordeste, 88, of Somerset, passed away in Somerset Jan. 25, 2008. Widow of Frank C. Nordeste & daughter of the late John & Emily (Dias) Correa. Born in Fall River & a Somerset resident since 1946. She was a member of St. Patrick Church, Somerset. Before retiring, she was a Floor Worker for Chesterfield Dress Co.
She is survived by: 1 Daughter: Janice Koetting of Somerset. 5 Siblings: John Correia, Emily La Pierre, & Lucy Correa all of Fall River; Alice Le Page of Falmouth, MA, Irene Reardon of CO. 2 Granddaughters. Several nieces & nephews. She was also sister of the late Edward Correia, Mary Enos, Rosaline Estrela, Isabel Camara, & Beatrice Casey.
Her funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home, 1521 N. Main St. Saturday Feb. 2, at 9:00 AM followed by a funeral mass in St. Patrick Church, Somerset at 10:00 AM. Interment in St. Patrick Cemetery, Somerset. Calling hours Friday 4-8 PM.
