Edward N. Adams, age 88, of Fall River formerly of Somerset. Widower of Margaret (Malone) Adams. Son of the late Alexander & Jane (Stratchan)Adams. Passed away in Fall River Jan. 27, 2008. Born in Methuen, MA. He was a Somerset resident for 2 years, previously of Assonet. He retired from U.S. Navy as a Chief Petty Officer. He served during WW II, Korean War, & Vietnam Conflict.
He is survived by: 2 children: Thomas J. Adams of Bloomingburg, N.Y. & Jane Magiera of Maine. l Brother: Robert Adams of Florida. 4 Grandchildren. Several nieces & nephews. He was also father of the late Edward “Skip” Adams, Jr., and brother of the late Alexander Adams, Jr., Allan Adams & Clara Filz.
A graveside service with Military Honors will be held Thursday at 1:00 PM in the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne, MA. In lieu flowers, donations to The Arc of Greater Fall River, P.O.
