Obituary

Adus J. Poluzzi of Wellesley died January 26, 2008 at the VA Medical Center in West Roxbury, he was 82.

Born in Sandwich he was the son of the late Armando and Emma (Givoni) Poluzzi. He was a World War II Disabled Veteran, serving in the United States Army and a retired employee of Sears Roebuck & Co. for 30 years.

He was the devoted father of June M. O’Neill and her husband Edward K. of Natick, Robert J. Poluzzi and his wife Ellen of Marlboro and Elizabeth A. Cabrera and her husband Tony of Framingham. He was the grandfather of Allison and Meghan O’Neill of Natick, Adam and Jena Poluzzi of Marlboro and Emily and Joseph Cabrera of Framingham. He also leaves his longtime companion Mary Legassie of Woonsocket, RI.

Visiting hours will be held at the George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home, 477 Washington St. (Rt.16) Wellesley, on Monday, Jan. 28th from 4-8 PM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. A private funeral service will be held for the family. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Wellesley. Expressions of sympathy may be made in Adus’ memory to the charity of your choice.
