Jose A. "Anthony" Villanueva, Jr., age 36, a Lowell resident, formerly of Brooklyn, New York, died unexpectedly on Sunday, Jan. 20, 2008 at Lowell General Hospital.
He was born in Brooklyn, New York on January 26, 1971, the son of Rosa Cintron of Lowell and the late Jose Villanueva.
Those who knew Anthony, loved him. He loved spending time with his family and friends, but most of all his daughter, Vianca. Anthony was always available to lend a helping hand to those in need.
Besides his mother Rosa Cintron of Lowell, he is survived by two daughters, Lorianna Villanueva of Puerto Rico, and Vianca Villanueva of Lowell and her mother, Deirdre Pizzarella; a sister, Jennifer Villanueva of Lowell; three brothers, Peter and Steven Cintron, and Jonathan Villanueva, all of Lowell; his grandmother, Efigena Valentine of Lowell; also several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and many dear friends. He was also the brother of the late Jeffrey Villanueva.
Relatives and friends may call at the M. R. LAURIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 295 Pawtucket St., Lowell on Sunday, Jan. 27 from 2 to 6pm. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday morning at 10 o'clock at St. Patrick Church, Lowell. Interment in St. Joseph Cemetery, Chelmsford.
