Mr. Frederick F. Fitzgerald 47, of Medford died Friday surrounded by his family. Husband of Mary (Bean) Fitzgerald with whom he spent more than 29 years of marriage. Born in Arlington, son of the late John and Grace (Tetreault) Fitzgerald. He worked as an Engineer.
Mr. Fitzgerald was the Past President of the North Medford Little League, a friend of Bill W. and known as a great cook. He also enjoyed playing guitar, being outdoors, hiking, white water rafting, drawing, the Red Sox and Patriots.
In addition to his wife he is the devoted father of Marissa, Brenda, Lauren, Arianne and Ian Fitzgerald all of Medford. Adored “Jiggy” of granddaughter Destiny Fitzgerald. Dear brother of Grace Labbe of Framingham, Freda Duggan and Ann Marie O'Brien both of GA., James Fitzgerald and his wife Sharon of Maynard. He also leaves several nieces and nephews. Brother of the late John Joseph and Kathleen Fitzgerald.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home 306 Main Street Medford Tuesday at 9 am. Followed by a mass celebrated in St. Francis Of Assisi Church, 441 Fellsway West, MEDFORD at 10:00 am. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Monday 4 thru 8. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
