TEWKSBURY - Grace A. (Burnett) Axson, age 79, died Thursday, Jan. 24, at the Blairehouse of Tewksbury, following a long period of declining health.
She was born in Missouri, on April 6, 1928, and raised in Missouri. She moved to Somerville where she was employed as a Nurses Aid at the Somerville Hospital. She had resided in Tewksbury since 1995.
She is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Donald Stuerman of Cape Cod, and Jay M. Axson and his wife Kathleen (Kenney) of Tewksbury; four grandchildren, two great grandchildren, a sister, Audrey Hubbard of Missouri; a brother, Harold Burnett of Missouri; and several nieces and nephews.
She was also sister of the late Benjamin and James Burnett.
Her Funeral service was held Tuesday, Jan. 29, in the funeral home. Burial was in St. Mary Cemetery, No. Tewksbury.
