Mary V. Urciuoli, 100, died at the Goddard Nursing and Rehab. Center in Stoughton on Wednesday, January 23. She was the daughter of the late Pasquale and Antoinette Urciuoli. Born in Stoughton, she was a lifelong resident of Stoughton and a graduate of Stoughton schools. Miss Urciuoli was a textile worker for JW Wood in Stoughton for many years before retiring in 1986. She was a founding member, Past President and secretary of the Minerva Lodge in Stoughton. She was also a member of the Mass. Catholic Women’s Guild at Immaculate Conception Church in Stoughton and the Catholic Order of Foresters. In her free time she enjoyed reading and crocheting.
Miss Urciuoli is survived by her sisters, Rose T. and Eleanor R. Urciuoli both of Stoughton. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Sebastian “Pat,” Carmen, Charles, Arthur and Ernest Urciuoli.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Monday, January 28 at 9:30 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 10:30 AM. Visiting Hours Sunday 2-5 PM. Donations in Mary‘s memory may be made to charity of your choice.
