Joseph A. “Jack” Joaquim, age 70, of Fall River. Husband of Monica (Ferreira) Joaquim & former husband of Judith Marcoux. Son of the late Amadeu & Mary (Rodrigues) Joaquim. Passed away January 21, 2008. Born in Fall River and a resident since 1993, previously of Las Vegas, Warren, & Swansea. He was a member of St. Joseph Church. Before retiring, he worked at Okinite Wire & Cable of RI. He last worked at America Auto Auction. He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran.
Besides his wife of Fall River & former wife of FL, he is survived by: 2 Children Cristina Kapler of Hyattsville, MD & Corey Joaquim of Swansea. 3 siblings: Raymond Joaquim of Manchester, N.H., Dolores Joaquim & Alice Pereira both of New Port Richey, FL. 2 Grandchildren: Jocelyn Joaquim & Lily Kapler. Several nieces & nephews. Brother of the late Madeline Joaquim & Leonora Michaud.
His funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home, 1521 N. Main St. Thursday at 9:00 AM followed by a funeral mass in St. Joseph Church at 10:00 AM. Interment in St. Patrick Cemetery. Calling hours Wednesday 5-8 PM.
