Harry M. Ellis, Jr., 93, of Mansfield formerly of Port St. Lucie, Florida and Newton died on Monday January 21, 2008 at home. He was the beloved husband of the late Mary G. (Moore) Ellis who passed away in 1996.
Born in Newton, MA on December 1, 1914 he was a son of the late Harry M. and Mary D. (Elkins) Ellis.
He grew up in Newton and later moved to Maine. Mr. Ellis was a retired Tinsmith having worked for the Cummings Woolen Mill in Newport, Maine before retiring.
He had made his home in Mansfield for the past 1 ½ years and had formerly resided in Florida and Newton.
He is survived by his devoted son Barry B. Ellis of Mansfield, his loving grandchildren Sibyl Lamson and Michael Ellis. He was the brother of the late Raymond Ellis and Betty Keulber.
Services will be private as well as burial services at the Newton Cemetery in Newton.
