Arthur A.L. Turgeon, 77, of Manchester, died January 16, 2008, at Catholic Medical Center, after a period of declining health.
He was born in Manchester, August 4, 1930 and was the son of Emile and Lena (Roberge) Turgeon and was a lifelong resident of this city.
He graduated from Manchester West High School in 1948. He later served in the US Army during the Vietnam War.
Mr. Turgeon worked as an engineer for FEMA for 23 years.
Family members include his wife of 52 years, Elizabeth R. (Wunderskirchner) Turgeon of Manchester; four daughters, Linda Wilkins, of Laconia, Carol-Ann Vigneault, of Dunbarton, Cherie-Lee Stafford and Vickie Lavery, both of Goffstown; 5 grandchildren; a brother, Donald Turgeon, of Las Vegas, NV; and two nephews.
Private services were held at the convenience of the family.
