Hoy T. Jones Hoy T. Jones, 89, Clarksville, died Wednesday, January 16, 2007, at Gateway Medical Center. The funeral will be held at 1 pm Saturday at Neal-Tarpley Chapel with Dr. John Laida officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 pm Friday and from 11 am until the hour of the service Saturday at the funeral home. A Masonic service will be held 7 pm Friday at the funeral home. Neal-Tarpley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. He was born May 15, 1918 in Montgomery County son of the late Thomas H. Jones and Nannie Bowers Jones. He was a member of First Baptist Chuarch of Clarksville. He was a Mason and was past master of Clarksville Lodge #89 and member of the Eastern Star. Mr. Jones had retired from Civil Service. He served in the US Army during WW II. He is survived by a granddaughter, Cayce Stephens and a sister Agnes J. Hite Towe both of Clarksville. He was preceded in death by his wife, Charlotte Jones, his daughter, Mary Ann Stephens Moses, his brothers, Paul Jones, K.C. Jones, George Jones, Jessey Jones, and Preston Jones; and his sisters, Maude Abernathy, Eunice Settle, and Nina Cayce. Nephews will serve as pallbearers.
