Idalina (Costa) Ferreira, age 84 of Somerset. Widow of Manuel Ferreira. Daughter of the late John & Evangelina Costa. Passed away in Fall River Jan. 15, 2008. Born in Somerset and a life long resident. She was a parishioner of St. John of God Church. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by 3 Daughters: Lorraine & husband Jose Freitas, Helen & husband Tony Raposo, & Rosemary Ferreira all of Somerset, MA. 1 Granddaughter: Maria E. Raposo. Several nieces & nephews. She was also sister of the late Manuel Pevide and Mrs. Teresa Medeiros.
Her funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home, 1521 N. Main St. Friday at 9:00 AM followed by a funeral mass in St. John of God Church at 10:00 AM. Interment in St. Patrick Cemetery, Somerset. Calling hours Thursday 4-8 PM.
