Janet (Raso) Fleming, of Malden, formerly of Everett and Somerville, died Saturday in the company of her loving family, at the Sawtelle Hospice House in Reading. She was 62.
Janet was raised in Somerville, the daughter of the late John and the late Olympia (DeRosa) Raso. A resident of Everett for many years lived the past 14 years in Malden. Janet was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She also worked as a housekeeper at McFadden Manor Nursing Home in Malden.
She was the beloved wife of Joseph E. Fleming. She was a devoted mother to Edward Fleming and his wife Melissa, Shawn Fleming and his wife Amy, all of Hudson, NH, Joseph Fleming and his wife Candice of Auburn, ME. She was a loving “Nonni” to Sapphire, Alessandra, Justin, Isabella and Rhayne. She was a dear sister to Thomas Raso of Miami, John Raso of Clearwater, FL and the late Ann Raso.
Her funeral will be from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, Friday at 10 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Benedict Church, 21 Hathorne Street, Somerville, at 11 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with the family Thursday, 4 thru 8. Services will conclude with burial at Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
