Obituary

Richard W. Fisher, 58, of Londonderry, NH, died Saturday, January 12, 2008 in the Parkland Medical Center, Derry, NH. Mr. Fisher was born in Paterson, NJ on March 17, 1949, a son of the late George and Madeline (Meyer) Fisher. He was a resident of Londonderry since 1981, formerly living in Hollywood, Fl as well as Paterson and Clifton, NJ. Mr. Fisher graduated from the University of Northern Colorado, in Greeley, CO. As the result of a career change, Mr. Fisher was able to travel more often and spend more time with his family. His most recent travels included a trip to Budapest, Hungary and the Hawaiian islands. Mr. Fisher was a communicant of St. Marks Church in Londonderry and also enjoyed watching sports.

He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Diane (Davis) Fisher of Londonderry, two daughters, Christine Pollock and her husband Daniel of Dunbarton, NH, Andrea Fisher of Manchester, NH, two grandchildren, Diana Pollock and Brian Pollock both of Dunbarton, a brother, George Fisher of Lambertville, NJ, a sister, Madeline Ulrich of Union, NJ, a nephew, Paul Ulrich, Jr. of Kenilworth, NJ, two nieces, Amy Randazzo of Flemington, NJ and Rebecca Fisher of Philadelphia, PA.

Calling hours were held on Tuesday, January 15, 2008 from 2 – 4 and 6 - 8pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry. A Mass of Christian burial were celebrated on Wednesday at 10:00am in St. Mark’s Church, corner of South Rd. and Mammoth Rd., Londonderry. The burial was in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Manchester. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Mark's Church, 3 South Rd., Londonderry, NH 03053 or to the charity of one's choice.
