John M. Corrigan, 65, of Marion died Sunday January 13, 2008 at Massachusetts General Hospital. He was the husband of Barbara (O'Neill) Corrigan.
Born in Brooklyn, New York, he was the son of the late John and Eleanor (McGrath) Corrigan. He lived in New York and Michigan for many years before moving to Marion eight years ago.
Mr. Corrigan was a Vice President of Computerworld Magazine until his retirement.
He is survived by his wife; three children, Eileen Lonergan and her husband Gene of Marion, Patricia Kelley and her husband Ed of Melrose, and Sean Corrigan and his wife Megan of Fairfield, CT; a brother, Kevin Corrigan and his wife Pat of Rockville Centre, Long Island, NY; and eight grandchildren, Maura, Elizabeth, and Fiona Lonergan, E.J. and Bridget Kelley, and Mary, Catie, and John Corrigan.
His Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Friday January 18, 2008 at 11 AM in St. Rita's Church, Marion. His family will receive visitors on Thursday from 5-8 PM at the Saunders-Dwyer Mattapoisett Home for Funerals, 50 County Rd., Route 6, Mattapoisett.
