William A. Fredericks, 70, of Goffstown died January 11, 2008 at Catholic Medical Center after a long illness.
Born in Massachusetts on September 29, 1937, he was the son of Christian and Beatrice (Andrews) Fredericks. He grew up in Seabrook then lived in New Paltz, NY many years before moving to Goffstown 13 years ago.
He served in the US Army in the early 1960’s. He then earned a degree in accounting from Bentley College in Waltham, MA
Mr. Fredericks worked as an accountant for IBM for 30 years. He was a member of the Masonic Temple and the American Legion.
The family includes his wife, Elaine (Vachon)(Johnson) Fredericks of Goffstown; five children, John Fredericks of Sawkill, NY, Stacy Spies of Port Ewen, NY, Dr. Kim Fredericks of Terre Haute, IN, Kent Johnson of Old Greenwich, CT and Becky Wojcik of Candia; four grandchildren; two sisters, Louise Weinhold of Manchester and Muriel Lessard of Winthrop, MA; cousins, nieces and nephews.
IN HIS LIFE: The family also includes two sons in law, Erich Spies and Jim Wojcik; a daughter in law, Karen Jonke; a niece, Suzanne Fischer of Appleton, WI and the Stoddard Family of Nottingham.
The funeral was held Tuesday January 15, 2008 in the funeral home.
