Obituary

SALEM- Stella (Kisiel) Jendrasek, 93, of Peabody, formerly of Salem, wife of the late Harry Jendrasek, died Wednesday evening, January 22, 2003 in the Salem Hospital following a brief illness.

Born in Lawrence, she was the daughter of the late Apolonary and Jadwiga (Janas) Kisiel.

A resident of Salem for over 50 years, Mrs. Jendrasek was a communicant and active member of the St John The Baptist Church, Salem, and a member of the Holy Rosary Sodality.

She worked at CBS Hytron for many years and was employed at Parker Bros. at the time of her retirement.

She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, William and Diane Jendrasek of Hamilton, one daughter, Dolores Desjardins of Dunn Loring, Virginia, eight grandchildren, Julie Kinsman of Wenham, William Jendrasek of Pottstown, PA, Janis Linehan of Ipswich, Mark Desjardins of Morriston, Florida, Paul Desjardins of Orlando, Florida, Michael Desjardins and Noelle Desjardins, both of Dunn Loring, Virginia, Mary Wilson of Fairfield, CA, four great grandchildren, one brother, Michael Kisiel of Methuen and several nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Robert Jendrasek and Theresa Konopka and sister of the late Tessie Filip, Laura Winters, Helen Hornby and Mary Bastek.

Her funeral service will be held on Monday, January 27, 2003 at 10 am from the Full-Spychalski Funeral Home, 84 Washington Square East, by Salem Common, Salem, followed by a funeral Mass at St John The Baptist Church, Salem. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. Visitation will be on Monday morning, from 10 to 10:45 am, prior to the Mass. Burial is in St Mary’s Cemetery, Salem.
