LOWELL-- Mahlon Magnan, 78 years old, a longtime resident of Lowell, died Wednesday morning at his home.
He was born in Newmarket, NH, on December 6, 1924, a son of the late Amedee and Ada (Pinkham) Magnan, and was educated in Newmarket, NH schools.
Mr. Magnan moved to Lowell in 1937. He was employed as a machinist in the Boot Mills and was a resident of the Centerville section of Lowell for over 50 years. More recently, he was a resident of the Archambault Towers.
He is survived by a niece and her husband, Patricia (Magnan) and Martin Fleming of Greenwich CT; a great nephew: Brian Fleming of Newton, MA; and a great niece: Kathrine Fleming also of Greenwich, CT.
Friends may call Saturday, January 18th, from 9 to 10 AM at the MAHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 187 Nesmith Street, (Rte. 38). His funeral service to be held at the funeral home at 10 AM. Burial in the Westlawn Cemetery, Lowell.
