WORCESTER: Margaret L. "Peggy" (Prescott) Mangaudis, 83, of Cataumet St., died Tuesday, January 1, 2008, at Autumn Village Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Worcester.
She leaves two sons, Brian E. Mangaudis and his wife Sandra of Hubbardston; Paul T. Mangaudis and his partner Thomas Beaver of Sherman Oaks, CA; her ex-husband, Alphonse A. Mangaudis of Venice, FL; a brother-in-law, George Ollis of Worcester; and several nieces and nephews. A sister, Eleanor Ollis, a brother, George Prescott, and a son, James M. Mangaudis, all predeceased her.
She was born and raised in Worcester, daughter of the late Thomas J. and Lillian J. (Holmes) Prescott, graduated from Commerce High School, and lived here all of her life.
Peggy worked as a clerk for the Registry of Motor Vehicles in Worcester for about 20 years. She was a member of Our Lady of the Rosary Church.
CALLING HOURS will be from 4 to 7 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 5, in KELLY FUNERAL HOME, 154 Lincoln St., immediately followed by a FUNERAL SERVICE at 7 p.m. in the funeral home. After cremation, burial of her ashes will be in St. John's Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
