Helen M. (Vanbuskirk) Terrasi -90, of Framingham, formerly of Hudson, died Wednesday, January 2, 2008 at Oak Knoll Healthcare Center in Framingham.
She was the wife of the late Charles F. Terrasi who died in June of 2006.
She was born in Hudson, daughter of the late James and Margaret (Morrissey) Vanbuskirk and was a graduate of Hudson H.S. She resided in Arlington, OH for a short time before moving to Framingham where she has resided since.
She was employed as a banking clerk at the Framingham Trust Co. in Framingham for 25 years before retiring.
She was known to be an avid reader and bridge player. She devoted her life to her beloved family and especially looked forward to the times she spent with them during the holiday season.
She is survived by her daughter, Jean Drew and her husband Leonard of Sherborn; she was mother to the late Janet Ball, Joan Chase and Donald Terrasi and is survived by her 2 sons in law Richard Ball of Holliston and David Chase of Columbus, OH. She is also survived by her 9 grandchildren, Linda and Gerald Drew, David Chase, Richard Ball Jr., Joanne Olivio, Kathy Small, Susan Casto, Barbara Jamison and John Paul Flaherty and 16 great grandchildren. She was grandmother to the late Mark Drew.
A funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday, Jan. 7, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. in Saint Michaels Church 21 Manning Street Hudson MA. Burial will be in Saint Michael’s Cemetery, Hudson. Family and friends may attend calling hours Monday, Jan. 7, from 9:00 to 9:45 a.m. prior to the mass at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749.
