Brother of Larry Alves of FL, Edward Alves of Sandwich, James Alves of Marshfield, Cathy Allen of FL, and the late Jane Lavigueur and Margaret Armstrong. Survived by 12 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Memorial Mass in St. Margaret Church of Blessed Mother Teresa Parish, 800 Columbia Rd., Dorchester, Saturday morning, January 5, at 10 A.M.
