Geraldine Ann Fields

...of St. William's Parish; 75

TEWKSBURY– Geraldine Ann (Pimentel) Fields, age 75, died peacefully on Tuesday, evening, January 1, 2008 after a long period of declining health, surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of George Allan Fields, the "light of her life," who died in 1977.

She was born in Cambridge, on June 20, 1932, a daughter to the late Manuel and Alda (Medeiros) Pimentel and raised in Somerville. In 1990 she and her mother moved to Tewksbury, where she was a communicant of St. William’s Church and a Tewksbury Golden Age Club Member.

In her earlier years she worked at Andrew Dutton, Warner Lambert Company and M.W. Carr as a quality control inspector. She retired early to care for her mother at home.

She is survived by a sister Alda Ricardo of Tewksbury; a brother Manuel and his wife Violet Pimentel of Tewksbury and Davie, Florida; and was a "favorite" aunt to many nieces and nephews.

She was also the sister of the late Mary (Enos) Lubinski.

Her Funeral Mass was celebrated Saturday, Jan. 5, in St. William's Church, Tewksbury. Burial was in Mt. Auburn Cemetery, Cambridge. Donations made to the Friends of the Elderly Senior Center Building Fund, 460 East St., Tewksbury, MA 01876 or the Lowell Visiting Nurse Hospice Program, P.O. Box 1965, Lowell, MA 01853 will be appreciated.
