Frank, R.Vittorio, 71, of Elena Street died Monday, December 31, 2007 at the Hospice Intake Center, Providence. He was the beloved husband of Anna (Lombardi) Vittorio. They were married for 48 years.
Born in Providence, a son of the late Anthony and Anna (Tacelli) Vittorio, he lived in North Providence for 35 years previously living in Providence.
Mr. Vittorio worked for the Town of North Providence for eleven years retiring in 2003. He was a veteran of the Army National Guard and was a member of the St. Bernado Society.
He is also survived by his beloved children, David F. Vittorio and his wife, Doreen; Sheryl A. Savasta and her husband, Thomas and Paul J. Vittorio, all of North Providence. Poppa of Amy and Bianca. Brother of Vilma Pompa of North Providence, Rita Lanzieri of Cranston and Barbara Sullivan of Warwick. He was the father of the late Frank R. Vittorio, Jr. and brother of the late Tina Oliveira.
His funeral will be held Friday at 9am from the ANDERSON-WINFIELD Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville, RI. Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in St. Augustine Church, 639 Mount Pleasant Avenue, Providence. Visitation Thursday 4-8 pm.
