Carol A. Edie, age 56, a lifelong resident of Lowell, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, Dec. 18 at her home in Lowell.
She was born in Shirley, MA on Jan. 17, 1951, the daughter of the late Royal D. Edie and the late Louise (Farrah) Butler who died March 24, 2007.
Carol was employed as an assembler with Astro Circuits in Lowell for five years and also worked with Wang in Tewksbury for many years.
She is survived by her brothers and sisters and their spouses, Robert D. and Lorna Edie of N. Billerica, Kenneth C. and Geraldine Butler of Nashua, Deborah L. Butler of Lowell and Robin L. and David Finneral of Nashua; an aunt, Josephine Therrien of Lowell; several cousins including Rosemary Hirbour of Dracut; also many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may call at the M. R. LAURIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 295 Pawtucket St., Lowell on Thursday, Jan. 3, from 9 to 12pm. A prayer service will follow at 12 noon at the Funeral Home. Interment will be private.
