Van Wagoner Ruth E., (nee Ost) age 79 of Hackensack died Monday December 31, 2007. Devoted mother of Christie J. and his wife Gayle, Garrett and his wife Lori, and Kurt and his wife Jodie. Cherished Sister of Evelyn McNett and Robert Ost and his wife Virginia. Loving Grandmother of five grandchildren. Ruth was the Director of Historical and Cultural Affairs for Bergen County for over 20 years. A funeral service will be held on Saturday January 5, 2008, 11:00AM at Volk Leber Funeral Home 268 Kinderkamack Rd., Oradell then to Musconetcong Valley Cemetery for interment. Friends and family are invited to visit on Friday, 2:00-4:00 PM and 7:00-9:00 PM. Donations to the charity of your choice in her name would be greatly appreciated.
