KEOUGH, RITA F. (MINAHAN) – Of West Roxbury died December 31, 2007 after a long illness. Born in 1918, she lived in Jamaica Plain until she moved to West Roxbury in 1946. Widow of the late Boston Police Detective William A. Keough. They were married for 58 years. Mother of Attorney Paul G. Keough of Roslindale & the late Fitchburg State College Professor William R. Keough, the late Boston Attorney Robert P. Keough. Grandmother of Attorney Sean Keough of Salem, Professor Leyla Keough of Washington, DC, Casey and Tara Keough of Liverpool, NY, Kelli Nolan of West Roxbury and Kerry, Ryan, Mary, Kevin and Allison Keough of Roslindale. Great grandmother of Lindsey Keough of Salem. Daughter of the late John and Mary “Jenny” Minahan of Jamaica Plain. Sister of the late John “Buddy” Minahan of Weymouth, the late George Minahan of Hull and Scituate, the late Mildred Wildes of Concord, and the late Victoria. Relatives and friends to visiting hours Saturday January 5, 2008 from 9am to 11:30am. in the William J. Gormley Funeral Home, 2055 Centre St., WEST ROXBURY, followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Theresa Church at 12 o’clock. Interment Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton, MA.
