Francis J. “Frank” Kane of Wellesley, formerly of Natick died December 29, 2007 at the River Bend Nursing Home. He was 84. He was the beloved husband of Eleanor (McCoy) Kane.
Mr. Kane was born in Natick and was the son of the late Frank and Louise (Harvey) Kane. A World War II U.S. Army Veteran, he worked as a custodian for the Wellesley Police Department for many years.
He was the devoted father of Judith Kane of Wellesley and Francis E. “Ted” Kane of Marlboro. Brother of Edward Kane of Natick and the late Charles Kane and Rita Marston.
Funeral service in the George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home, 477 Washington St., Wellesley, on Thursday at 12 Noon. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Visitation prior to the service from 10-12 Noon. Interment will follow in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Natick. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Hospice of the Good Shepherd, 2042 Beacon St., Newton, MA 02468.
