Gilda M. Norris Gilda M. Norris, 77, Clarksville, died Monday, Dec 31, 2007, at Clarksville Manor Nursing Home. The funeral will be held at 10:30 am Wednesday at Neal-Tarpley Chapel with Dr. John D. Laida officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 pm today and from 9 am until the hour of the service Wednesday at the funeral home. Neal-Tarpley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. She was born February 22, 1930 in Covington, KY daughter of the late Gilbert McClure and Myrtle Street McClure. She was a member of First Baptist Church and the Montgomery County Riding Club. She graduated from Holmes High School in Covington, KY in 1947. After retiring from Clarksville Bottling Company she volunteered with Clarksville Memorial Hospital and the Clarksville Montgomery County Humane Society. Survivors include her husband, Joe. H. Norris and a son, Bennie Joe Norris. Pallbearers will be Ed Rufo, Jeff Norris, Teddy Jones, Gary Norris, Fred Landiss, Buddy Palmore, Eddie Vaughn, James Van Reenan.
