Alexander Bernal Villanueva, Sr. Alexander Bernal Villanueva, Sr., 81, Clarksville, died Sunday, Dec. 30, 2007, at General Care Convalescent Center. The funeral will be held at 11am Monday at Neal-Tarpley Chapel with Father Michael officiating. Burial will be in Kentucky Veteran Cemetery - West, Hopkinsville, Ky.with full military honors. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 pm Sunday and from 10 am until the hour of the service Monday at the funeral home. A Rosary service will be held 7 pm Sunday at the funeral home. Neal-Tarpley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. He was born in Hilo HI on Dec. 11, 1926 son of Charles Zacharias Villanueva and Berhamina Bernal Villanueva. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Church. He was a retired SMG of the US Army.He was member of the VFW in Panama and he had a bachelor of science degree from APSU. He is survived by his wife Carmen Gloria Garcia Villanueva of Clarksville, two sons Alexander Villanueva, Jr of Atlanta, Ga.,Anthony Villanueva of Murfreesboro, one daughter Gloria Villanueva-Hill of Hanson, Ky.; six grandchildren Joshua, Andrew and Michael Hill, Jade, Malia and Zoe Villanueva. He is also survived by eight sisters, Audrey Asato, Lemomi Alivado, Virginia Culotis, Trina Cominella (Jim), Adele Daite (Jeffrey), Arlene Schade, Gwendolyn Silva (Harry), and Patricia Tyner (Willie) and two brothers, Arnold Villanueva and Alan D.
