Mr. William W. Kolinsky, Jr., 85, of 708 Western Avenue, Berlin, NH passed away on Tuesday December 25, 2007 at the Androscoggin Valley Hospital in Berlin, NH. He was born in Berlin, NH on May 24, 1922 the son of William W. and Natalie (Sumesevich) Kolinsky, Sr. and was a lifelong resident. He graduated from Berlin High School in 1940 and the University of NH in 1947. He was a US Army Veteran of World War II. Until his retirement, he was employed as a Supervisor at the NH Department of Education Vocational Rehabilitation for 59 years. He was a member of the Ryan-Scammon Post # 36 American Legion and a former member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles.
Members of the family include his wife Frances (Klingler) Kolinsky of Berlin, NH; 1 son Gregory Kolinsky and his wife Sharon of Berlin, NH; 2 daughters Carol Kolinsky of Berlin, NH and Barbara Kolinsky of Berlin, NH: 5 grandchildren Shelly Hope and husband Steve of Kentucky, Kara Soggu and husband Nick of Manchester, NH, Allison Roberge and husband Nathan of Gorham, NH, Christopher Gagnon and wife Rosie of California, Sean Brungot and partner Jaimie Parker of Berlin, NH; 6 great-grandchildren Seth Hope, Madi Hope, Christopher Gagnon, Caleb Gagnon, Anastasia Pepin and Lily Frances Brungot; 1 niece and 1 grandnephew.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday January 2, 2008 at 10:00 AM at St. Barnabas Episcopal Church in Berlin, NH. There will be no calling hours. Interment will be at a later date. Anyone who wishes may make a donation to St. Barnabas Church in his memory. The Bryant Funeral Home in Berlin is in charge of the arrangements.
