Harold T. Kelleher, 72 years, lifelong resident of Brockton and Dennisport died unexpectedly Sunday morning. He was the husband of Jean (Ferretto Cirelli) Kelleher for 51 years.Born in Brockton, he was the son of the late Gerald and Mary Gladys (Haslam)Kelleher.
He was a graduate of Brockton High School Class of 1948 and NortheasternUniversity School of Engineering.Mr. Kelleher served in the National Guard. He was employed in constructionby brother Gerald Kelleher, before working as a civil engineer for the Cityof Brockton. He retired from the Brockton School Department in 1982 where he was Superintendent of Buildings and Grounds.Mr. Kelleher was self-employed as an architect and general contractor forthe construction of Cirelli Foods, Inc. and the former Hesse-Easton facilityon Pearl Street. He was also an independent insurance agent.
A devoted husband and father, Mr. Kelleher is survived by four children,Linda J. Meade of Attleboro, Kathleen A. Viola of Sandwich, Harold T.Keller, Jr. of Norton and John G. Kelleher of Brockton and his sister HelenM. O'Brien of East Bridgewater and brother Gerald J. Kelleher of Brockton.He also leaves eight grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He wasthe brother of the late William E. Kelleher.
