Naples, Florida- Dolores M. Jacobson, 77, died December 25, 2007. Born in New York, NY, daughter of John J. P. Dolan and Eleanor (Lindlar),she moved to Naples seven years ago from West Boylston, MA.
Mrs. Jacobson graduated from North High School and Salter’s Secretarial School. She was employed by Paul Revere Insurance as a secretary and department head. Dolores was active at St. Michael’s Episcopal Church, Worcester, MA and served on the altar guild. After moving to Florida, she became a communicant of St. John’s Church, Naples, FL.
Survivors include her loving husband of 55 years, Carl A. Jacobson of Naples, FL; daughters, Suzanne and her husband Stephen Cortis of Worcester, MA and Christine and her husband David Joseph of Naples, FL; a sister, Carole and her husband Neil Andrews of Spencer, MA;a sister-in-law, May Jacobson of Worcester, MA; and 4 grandchildren, Kyle and Kristen Cortis and Nicole and Allison Joseph. Dolores also leaves a nephew, Mark Andrews and a niece, Debra Lavallee, both of Spencer and many life-long friends.
A memorial service was held Sunday, December 30, 2007 in Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln St. Worcester. Burial will be at a later date.
