Obituary

WORCESTER-Aurelino Zambrano, 70, of 43 Austin Street died suddenly, Tuesday, January 14th in Saint Vincent Hospital at Worcester Medical Center. He leaves his wife of 43 years, Rosa M. (Rodriguez) Zambrano; 2 sons, Henry Zambrano of Worcester and Fabio E. Zambrano husband of Adriana both of Worcester; 3 brothers, Hipolito and Reynaldo Zambrano both of Bogota, Colombia and Absalon Zambrano of Velez, Colombia; 3 sisters, Mariela and Mercedes Zambrano both of Boyaca, Colombia and Marina Zambrano of Bogota, Colombia; 2 grandchildren, J. Sebastain and Stefinia Zambrano both of Worcester; many nephews and nieces. A son, Edgar Zambrano; a brother, Edilberto Zambrano and 3 sisters, Crelia, Gabrielina and Idaly Zambrano all predeceased him.

He was born in Boyaca, Colombia the son of Vincente and Rosa M. (Roncancio) Zambrano and moved to the United States in 1984. He attended school in Colombia. Mr. Zambrano worked as a member of the container department for the Weston Nursery for six years. Previously he worked for 13 years in road construction for the Angelo Scola Co. He was a member of the Jehovah’s Witnesses Central Congregation, North Spanish. He loved playing tejo and enjoyed reading.

The funeral will be Saturday, January 25th from O’Connor Brothers Funeral Home, 592 Park Avenue with a service at 2:00 PM in Jehovah’s Witnesses Central Congregation, Kingdom Hall, 659 Franklin Street. Cremation will follow. Calling hours are Friday, January 24th from 6:00 until 9:00 PM in the funeral home.
