Lydia (Souza) Oliveira, age 101 formerly of Williams St. Widow of Manuel B. Oliveira. Daughter of the late Manuel F. & Maria C. (De Mello) Souza. Passed away Dec. 25, 2007. Born in Falmouth, MA, she was a Fall River resident most of her life. She was a member of the former St. Louis Church; sang in the Santo Christo & St. Louis Church choirs & loved bingo & line dancing. She was a retired Folder in Troy Mills.
She is survived by l Son: Eugene Oliveira of Fall River, A very close & faithful friend: Faye Greenlaw, 1 Brother: Edmund Souza of Fall River, l Grandson: Eugene L. Oliveira & 1 Great Grandson: Alex Oliveira & Several nieces, nephews & cousins of Fall River & Bristol, RI. She was also sister of the late Anibal, Ernest, Manuel Jr. & Beatrice Souza, Georgina Viveiros & Marion Perry.
A memorial mass will be scheduled at a time to be announced following cremation.
