Lynnwood Neal, age 83, passed from this life on Tuesday, December 25, 2007 at the Baptist Memorial Hospital – N MS in Oxford, Mississippi. He was born to the late Silver Neal. He worked for Motts Inc. and was a member of the Springhill M.B. Church in Water Valley, MS.
The visitation will be held Saturday, December 29, 2007, from 12 to 2 p.m. at Springhill M.B. Church in Water Valley, MS. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday and will be conducted by Pastor Sammie Townes. The committal will be held in Oak Ridge Cemetery in Water Valley, MS.
Mr. Neal is survived by his wife of 52 years, Barbara Ann Morgan Neal of Water Valley, MS; a daughter, Mabel Scott Kee of Water Valley, MS; three sons Melvin Lynn Neal Scott, Sr. of Marietta, GA, Dwayne Neal of Water Valley, MS and Marvin Lynn Neal of Water Valley, MS; four sisters, Mary Alice Moody of Coffeeville, MS, Evone Sargent of Charleston, MS, Jeanette Neal of Chicago, IL, and Louisa Neal of Chicago, IL; four brothers, Tommy Neal, Larry Neal, Robert Neal, and Charles Neal all of Chicago, IL; 7 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren.
