O’NEIL Albert L. “Dapper” In West Roxbury, Dec.19, 2007, formerly of Roslindale and Roxbury. Boston City Councilor for 28 years and former Commissioner of Licensing for City of Boston. Dear friend of Helen T. Skrzowski, brother of the late Mildred Walsh, Evelyn Lowney and William T. “Brother” O’Neill also survived by nieces and nephews Atty. Peter O’Neill of Quincy, Ellen Matranga of Weymouth, Patrica Wirtz of Quincy, Michael O’Neill of Weymouth, Brian P. O’Neill of Lexington, Christina O’Neill of Quincy, Thomas O’Brien (B.P.D.) of Quincy, Elizabeth O’Brien of West Roxbury and the late Evelyn Walsh, Paul O’Neill, William T. O’Neill Jr. and Nancy Duff. Funeral from the William J. Gormley Funeral Home 2055 Centre St. WEST ROXBURY, Monday, Dec. 24, at 8:30 am, followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Theresa’s Church, at 10 o’clock. Visiting hours Saturday & Sunday 2-7 pm. Relatives and friends invited. Late Past Commander of American Legion, V.F.W. and D.A.V., Presiding Justice of Boston Lodge of Elks # 10. Interment Mass National Cemetery Bourne. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to N.E. Homeless Veterans, 17 Court St., Boston, Ma., 02108.
