Helena Patnaude of Derry, NH died December 18, 2007 in Parkland Medical Center, Derry. Helena was born in Koblenz, Germany the daughter of the late Peter and Anna (Oster) Blassius. She was raised and educated in Koblenz and moved to Derry, NH shortly after marrying Scott Patnaude in 1965. She was employed for Alexander Eastman Hospital and later Parkland Medical Center, Derry as Director of House Keeping. She also worked at Hadco Corp. and McKerley Nursing Home, both of Derry. She enjoyed deep sea fishing, gardening and especially her animals.
She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Scott Patnaude of Derry, her sister, Margaret Bell of Summerville, SC, and several nieces and nephews. She also leaves her precious Boston Terrier “Boo Boo” of 15 years and her Sheltie “Hidie”. She was predeceased by her siblings, Ukis, Thomas, Otto, Walter, Maggi, Lillian Woods and Elsie Werner.
Following cremation, a calling was be held on Saturday December 22, 2007 from 1 – 2pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry.
