Donald R. Thompson
Of Dedham, formerly of Jamaica Plain, December 16 at age 82 passed peacefully, surrounded by his family after a long courageous battle with failing health. He was the devoted and loving husband of 64 years to Bertha L. (Ballentine). Beloved father of James D. Thompson of Dedham, his precious Donald F. Thompson (deceased), Norene McMillan and her husband William of Walpole, Charlene Morris and her husband David of Norwood. "Gramps" was cherished by his loving grandchildren James H., Courtney, Douglas, Colleen and Gregory. He was dearly loved by many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, and grand-nephews. Funeral Service at the George F. Doherty & Sons, Wilson-Cannon Funeral Home, 456 High St., DEDHAM, Thursday at 7 PM. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Visiting hours Thursday 4-7 PM. Interment Milton Cemetery, Friday at 2:30 PM.
