Methuen, Ma – Mary A. Ahearn, 90, and formerly of 631 Haverhill St. in Lawrence, passed away on Saturday morning at Halcyon House. .
Born in LawreMnce February 1, 1917 daughter of parents, (Police Officer Retired) William and V. Angie Ahearn. Mary graduated from Lawrence High School class of 1934 and McIntosh Business College. She was a claims representative for the Aetna Casualty and Surety Company in the group health department for many years.
She was an avid reader and very interested in history and arts and crafts. Mary also enjoyed oil painting. Was a long time communicant of Our Lady of Good Counsel Parish in Lawrence on tower hill. She traveled many times to England and Europe.
Mary is survived by a sister V. Angela Green of Melbourne, Florida, cousins and a good friend Bill Honohan.
A mass of Christian burial will take place on Friday morning at 10 o’clock in Our Lady of Good Counsel Parish / St. Augustines Chapel on Ames Street Lawrence.
